INFORMATION UPDATE
SDHDRTC & Depts of Sanskrit, Hindi paid floral tributes today to innocent martyrs of Jalianwala Baag (Amritsar) by organizing a lecture by Prof(Dr) U V Singh, former head, Dept of history on the criminal British history of that day. After that Dr Gaurav Sharma delivered lecture on importance of Baisakhi and its celebration in different states by different names with the same cultural spirit and philosophical foundations. All were also made aware about the proud foundation day of Khalsa Panth of indian tradition.
A word of appreciation, acknowledgement for the students who took pains to organize this function as there are no prizes, incentives for them. I am indebted to their spirit.
