Sanskrit-Shaastriya Non-Traditional Model of Literary Criticism of English Under VedaVyaasa Restructuring Sanskrit Scheme MONTHLY NEWS LETTER VOLUME OCTOBER & NOVEMBER ISSUE-2021 SANATAN DHARMA HUMAN DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH & TRAINING CENTER (AN UNDERTATKING OF SANATAN DHARMA COLLEGE, AMBALA CANTT.) & DEPARTMENT OF SANSKRIT SANATAN DHARMA COLLEGE, AMBALA CANTT. 133001. HARYANA, INDIA Sdhdrc.sdcollegeambala.org Novels (Siddhartha of Hermann Hesse & A Short Story – A Good Brahmin of Voltaire) आंग्लीय उपन्यास ं का संस्कृत -शास्त्रीय अ- पारम्पररक साहित्याल चन का प्र ारूप (हसद्धार्थ एवम् व ल्त े यर की लघु-कर्ा – ए गुड ब्र ाह्मण ) for teachers, critics & scholars of English, Sanskrit, Hindi Literature* to critically evaluate, to make suggestions & to tune up (if possible) this proposed “Model of literary Criticism.” Dept of Sanskrit made this presentation because of the ambivalent relationship of Sanskrit and English which remained tense over three centuries but also remained interactive too, since English came to do business and moved on to rule India and Indian mind & at the same time, they explored & translated Sanskrit Language, literature, art, culture and knowledge tradition, by which they were fascinated by this non-regional language & not only this, they also developed narratives suitable to them which was followed by two sections of English writers- one who made it a point to condemn, denounce & humiliated Sanskrit language, literature & its culture whereas the second section of writers not only tried to understand the sources of Sanskrit tradition but also expressed themselves in a sensible and meaningful manner. So, this Love- hate relationship between English & Sanskrit has given an idea to the dept of Sanskrit to develop its own discourse of literary criticism in its own terms, concepts to evaluate English writings. This non-traditional Sanskrit Shaastriya model of criticism consists of 17 parts along with Sanskrit- Shaastriya culture of introducing a subject.
