Dept of Sanskrit initiated the discussion by sharing the survey report and then raised the following issues – 1. When two institutions get the same grade does it mean they are at par? E.g. JNU & Amity universities have the same grades but can you claim that both universities are at par in any manner? How does the NAAC envision developing / evolving a student into a sensible human being & wellbeing of society? 3. Does NAAC certified Quality education mean that the future of humanity will be safe & secure?? 4. Is NAAC trying o regimentizing all the institutions by its rigid quality parameters and isn’t its evaluation system getting costlier day by day? 5. Do you feel that there is a huge gap between ground realities and NAAC evaluation system? Dr. CK Jha Head, PG Dept of Sanskrit, MPN College conducted the question answer session. Dr. Ranju Trehan, Convener of IQAC proposed the vote of thanks.
