(Under VedaVyaas Restructuring Sanskrit Scheme) Dept of Sanskrit, SDHDR&T Center, S D College, Dept of Psychology, Govt PG College, GMN College, Ambala, DAV College, Pehowa, MPN College, Mullana, Arya Girls College, SDA Skt College, Ambala, RKSD College, Kaithal jointly organized a *National Webinar cum Open House Discussion on the topic – “To Construct The Syllabus of Applied Indian Psychology Based on Sanskrit- Shaastra Tradition”. “संस्कृ त -शास्त्र परम्पराहित व्य ाविाररक भारतीय अन्त :करण-हवज्ञान के पाठ्यक्रम का हनमाथण for scholars, teachers & students of psychology & Sanskrit. A total number of 118 participants from various states joined the webinar. Dr. Ajay Gauri, convener, welcome the participants and talked about the idea of webinar. Dept of Sanskrit raised the following issues by a PPT presentation – 1. भारतीय मन हवज्ञान से िम क्य ा समझते िैं? 2.क्या मन हवज्ञान Psychology हवषय का हकसी भी प्र कार से सिी अनुवाद ि सकता िै? [मन+ बुद्धद्ध + हचत्त + अिंकार+ भावना+ वासना+ सत्त्व + सत्+ हचत् + आत्मा + ज्ञ ान + अज्ञान + पुरुष + जीव+ स्म ृ हत + अनुभव+ हृ दय + संज्ञान , आज्ञानं , हवज्ञानं , प्र ज्ञ ान , मेधा , इहि, धृहत, महत, मनीषा, जूहत, स्म ृ हत , संकल्प , क्र तु , असु, काम, वश = ???] 3. क्य ा मन वृहत्त आत्मा सत् हचत्त् आनन्द जीव क श कमथ आहद शब् ं का अंग्रेजी में पररहनहित अनुवाद सम्भव िै? 4. क्य ा उपर क्त शब् ं की व्य ाख्याएं अहतव्याद्धि या सांकयथ द ष पीहित निी ं िै? 5. भारतीय मन हवज्ञान के हवषय में ज कुछ भी सूचना सामग्री उपलब्ध िै क्य ा वि पयाथि एवम् व्य वद्धथर्त िै? 6. क्य ा उपलब्ध हवषय सामग्री का उपय ग वैज्ञाहनक पद्धहत से करना सम्भव िै? 7. क्य ा भारतीय मन हवज्ञान क एक हवषय के रू प में कम से कम बी०ए० में पढाना सम्भव िै? और यहद िै, त अभी तक इस सन्दभथ में िमने क्य ा प्र यत्न हकए??? and then the dept of Sanskrit proposed an applied model of Indian psychology based on Nyaaya-Vaisheshik philosophy along with 5 counseling techniques and multiple questionnaires to evaluate one’s own personality etc. *Prof (Dr) Girishwar Mishra, Prof (Dr.) C R Darolia made the initial statements regarding outlines of syllabus followed by Prof (Dr.) Avinash Kumar Shrivastav who talked about Buddhist psychology, Prof (Dr.) Rajender Sharma talked about Vedic psychology, Dr. Acharya Padma Muni ji Maharaj talked about Jain psychology, Dr. Ravi Aggarwal, Dr. Roopika Bhanot, Dr Mohinder, Dr. R K Gupta, Dr Vinay Singhal, Prof Loveleen, Dr Anita Jain, Dr. Brajesh Pandey & others made many suggestions to tune up the proposed syllabus of Indian by psychology. It was decided to hold one more such open house discussion soon on this issue. Dr. Ajay Gauri proposed the vote of thanx to all the participants for their valuable contributions. Due to technical issues, recording of this very valuable webinar failed. We feel very sad for this academic loss.
